I rarely like sequels, especially by a different author from the first one, since the characterization and style tends to vary, but I must admit this piece was awesome.
First, J.D.'s POV, the way he thought and felt, the description of his six stores high freefall (totally Matrix, I absolutely loved it), the way Micah was waiting for him, their interaction, THE SEX (wonderful and hot), Micah's actions after (how he goes in search of sticks, the use of the window), their last dialogue, all that it implies and how you worded it, and the nice ending sentence... all in all, a great fic.
