Greetings, I'm a latecomer to your FF7 series, and damned: it is a compelling one. The last paragraph in this story resonated especially deeply. In RL I am close to several people who are just that passionately relentless and masterminds of rather uncompromising methodology. It requires absolute resistance and a mind faster and more devious than theirs with an equally "take-no-prisoners" attitude to fight any battle to a win or draw. My relationships with these people being what they are, I find that your story has struck a chord within me, and it is a darkly satisfying one. It feels good to see that finally an author has appeared who's got that solid grasp on the logical and ruthless strategist that General Sephiroth is, and what exactly that represents about the people I admire and interact with at a safe distance.
